Why Music?
Our curriculum is based on music and its amazing benefits to multiple aspects to a child’s development! Kindermusik has been the world’s leader in music and movement curricula for young children since 1978, and we see each day how children blossom when they are engaged on every level - physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Kindermusik regularly consults with experts in the field of Early Childhood development, music and movement as they develop their curricula. The curricula are based on the principles of developmentally appropriate practice as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Music education benefits children’s growth and development in so many ways, including cognitive, physical, creative, confidence, school- readiness, language, and social emotional development. Kindermusik’s engaging, developmentally appropriate music classes offer thoughtfully integrated sequences of activities that set the stage for optimal, multi-sensory learning. Each lesson is designed to boost school readiness, nurture multiple areas of a child’s development, and tap into a variety of individual learning styles.
Ian has so enjoyed his musical days with you and the Kindermusik program. We're lucky he has had such a positive musical experience to draw on and build on.
