Piano Lessons for children ages 5 and 6

Are you looking for a great way to help your child develop an appreciation of music and be a lifelong learner?

Luanne has recently adopted a fantastic Young Beginner Piano Curriculum which can help to accomplish this. It is called My First Piano Adventure for the Young Beginner by Nancy and Randal Faber.

The Lesson Books and Writing introduce:

  • Directional pre-reading
  • Elementary music theory and technique
  • Engaging songs, games, and creative discovery

30 minute lessons with a 15 minute computer lab are available for the age group. There are also several group lessons and two recitals per year.

Music-oriented activities include:

  • Singing and movement
  • Listening and reading
  • Creating with sounds, colors, and games
  • Pencil and paper activities
  • Computer activities
