Personalized Private Piano Lessons

Piano lessons include training in theory, technique, sight reading, composing and ensemble. The program is customized to each students interests and strengths. Taubman principles of alignment and freedom are encouraged.

Group Classes 4 times yearly

These classes include music performance, theory, history, and games. The students really enjoy the opportunity to get together and share ideas in an informal settin. Luanne has a huge collection of rhythm instruments that students may explore in ensemble and rhythm games.

Music and Music Appreciation Lending Library

Luanne's Music Studio has a large collection of music, CDs, & DVDs/videos.

Performance Opportunities

There are 2 formal recitals per year, as well as group class performances, the Ribbon Festival, Adjudications and Master Classes. Planning and preparing for a performance takes a lot of goal setting and organization. This is an important life skill which permeates all areas of life.
