Cock-a-doodle Moo
Cock-A-doodle-MOO!—
Hop on the hayride—it’s time to head for the farm! In the
Cock-a-doodle-MOO! unit of Kindermusik Village, families
will sing songs about the farm, including “Old MacDonald,”
“Hayride,” and “Clever Cows.” They’ll engage in rituals and
playful activities for baby and caregiver, including infant
massage, lap bounces, exercise, and quiet time. During the week,
families will enjoy their At Home Materials, looking
through a playful picture book of animals and the sounds they
make, as well as a CD of the songs heard in class and an
instrument for music-making at home. Caregiver or parent
present the entire class.
All units in Village contain hallmark
Kindermusik variety, including upbeat activities and an array of
stimulating and age-appropriate objects and instruments for Baby
to explore. All activities, from the most intimate to
the most rambunctious, are designed to help Baby move down that
fascinating road of development.

Ages 6 months - 3 years
Welcome to Sign &Sing, a first of its
kind joint venture between two of the top early childhood
learning programs in America, Kindermusik and Signing Smart! Use
the power of music, song, and play to create unique
opportunities to share ASL signing with your child. Signing with
young, hearing babies and children enriches their interactions,
relieves frustration, and gives you fascinating insights into
your little one's thoughts, preferences, and ideas. Signing
facilitates early speech and vocabulary development, allows even
very young children the opportunity to initiate conversation,
aids in memory development, and increases concept formation, all
while boosting self esteem. The Sign & Sing curriculum creates a
setting well-suited to fun, communication, and learning. Sign a
song of bears, balls, or bubbles! Watch- can your hands say
'music' to the beat? In every class, learn new, useful, and
interesting 'target' signs to add to you and your child's
growing vocabulary as you sing and play your way to both
increased early communication and long-term learning. This
class gives you the strategies to help you feel empowered and
comfortable communicating with your little one.

Toys I Make, Trips I Take
What's
more exciting to a 3-or 4-year-old than a new toy? How about an
entire Toy Shop full of toys! A remarkable toy shop, filled
with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box and many other toys
is exactly what your child will enjoy in Toys I Make, Trips I
Take. While activities are centered on a child's pretend
play and imagination, the unit firmly integrates the learning
process by placing a strong musical emphasis on singing, steady
beat and ensemble, as well as rhythm and rhythmic patterns. A
specially designed Kindermusik drum will be the featured
instrument in the At Home materials. In addition to the drum,
At Home materials will include two CDs, two literature books, a
Home Activity Book, and a Toy Shop playset.
Parents present the last 15 minutes.

is a romping, rolling, stretching good time for the whole
family. This fifteen-lesson unit of Family Time will

in Can You Catch Me?, and read about a jungle hokey-pokey
in Put Your Left Paw In. Show your best groovin’
moves—it’s time for Movin’ & Groovin’.
