Since March 2008, she has studied the Taubman Technique, an in-depth physiological approach to piano technique which both prevents and relieves injuries sustained by musicians.

To ensure her continued growth both as a teacher and a musician, she studies and practices piano regularly, participates in workshops, master classes and conventions, reads professional journals and books on music and teaching and attends concerts regularly.

Luanne now brings her love of music and young children as founder and director of her Kindermusik program located at Enumclaw Music in downtown Enumclaw, WA. Luanne established Kindermusik in 2003 when she recognized the need for a studio that offers high-quality musical experiences for young children and their families to enjoy while providing a foundation for future learning and development.  Luanne is excited about sharing the magic of Kindermuik with the Plateau.  She is also a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Washington State Music Teachers Association.
