ABOUT LUANNE
Luanne Kauppila has spent her entire life involved in music.  She was able to sing over 100 songs at the age of 2 and was raised in a family that enjoyed sharing music.  She began piano lessons at 10 years old and continues to play in a variety of venues and has taught piano since 1977.  She has
accompanied various instrumental and singing groups, pianist at churches, played for weddings, funerals and musicals.  Currently, she is a part-time pianist at several local churches and accompanist for instrumentalists along with having a busy  teaching schedule.  A graduate of Azusa Pacific University in piano performance, she is also a nationally certified teacher of music in piano (NCTM)
Luanne now brings her love of music and young children as founder and director of her Kindermusik program located at Enumclaw Music in downtown Enumclaw, WA. Luanne established Kindermusik in 2003 when she recognized the need for a studio that offers high-quality musical experiences for young children to enjoy with their families, while providing a foundation for future learning in all areas of development.  Luanne is part of a large international network of licensed Kindermusik programs and she is excited about sharing the magic of Kindermusik with the Plateau.  She is also a member of MTNA and WSMTA .

Luanne is married to Dave and has a 22 year old Daughter, Sarah, who is a senior at Washington State University.  Socks, the cat, Daisy, the Maltese and Riley, the Dachshund, are also important family members.
